Augusta University baseball team hosting charity game for Georgia Cancer Center

The Augusta University Jaguars will welcome Georgia College to Lake Olmstead Stadium later this month for a charity game. The team is hoping you’ll show up in a special cancer-themed t-shirt to show your support. Proceeds from the shirt sales will benefit the Georgia Cancer Center’s mission to provide excellent care for its patients.

“The Georgia Cancer Center is obviously a tremendous asset to our university and  local community,” said Clint Bryant, Augusta University Athletics director. “We love doing our annual cancer awareness games at various sporting events, and we are looking forward to another great day with our baseball team later this month.”

Click here to purchase your shirt. You can get your shirt in a variety of colors to match the various types of cancer, including breast cancer, testicular cancer and prostate cancer. The deadline to order a shirt is Friday, April 6, 2018.

The game is scheduled for Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2 p.m. Stay tuned for more details about other fundraising opportunities for the game later this month.
