Re-Creation performs for residents, staff at Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home

Re-Creation USA, Inc., a non-profit corporation that provides therapeutic entertainment to hospitalized veterans, visited the residents at Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home and performed a show called “HAPPY,” a grand celebration that highlighted some of the most popular American songs through the decades. The group closed with patriotic music, which included Lee Greenwood’s God Bless the USA and each military service branch theme song. The colorful and professionally choreographed group of young men and women are volunteers who spend a year traveling with Re-Creation to sing and dance for veterans across the nation.
