Pizzeria’s opening day to benefit the Georgia Cancer Center

MOD Pizza, a build-your-own pizza restaurant, will officially open its first location in the CSRA on Wednesday, Feb. 28, and the owners invite students, faculty and staff to celebrate, with proceeds benefiting the Georgia Cancer Center at Augusta University.

Known for their community engagement, MOD Pizza stores are active in their communities through charity donations and by hosting one-day deals to benefit non-profits and other organizations.

The restaurant, located at 229 Robert C. Daniel Jr. Parkway, will be open from 11 a.m. — 10 p.m.
