$35 million investment reaffirms Augusta’s cyber future

The state has invested even more in the cyber field with a $35 million dollar facility to join the Hull McKnight Cyber Innovation and Training Center. The goal for the two buildings is for them to work off of each other by creating an ecosystem for practical on-site workforce training.

“I think it’s awesome,” said Ricardo Lopez, an Augusta University student studying in the cyber field. “There’s not a lot of places where you get to do on-hands training with all different types of things that are going to be with your future career. So having that is a great advantage.”
