New coffee blend created as fundraiser for Georgia Cancer Center

If you’re a coffee fan, this is an opportunity to pick up a blend you can’t find in your favorite food store while helping people living with cancer.

John and Pat Curry, the owners of Buona Caffe in Augusta, have created a special blend to raise awareness about cancer. It is a mix of a Central American coffee and an East African coffee. “A Brighter Day” is rich and full-bodied with sultry semi-dark chocolate, rainforest soil, black tea and dark fruit flavors.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Georgia Cancer Center to further the center’s mission to find new treatments, therapies and a cure for all cancers.

You can pre-order your bag of “A Brighter Day” at this link. It will be available for pick up at Buona Caffe’s location at 1858 Central Avenue in Augusta starting Nov. 16. The store is open from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday-Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
