Families want to see more money spent on childhood cancer research

Collin Morgan, 11, has a rare form of sarcoma called epithelioid sarcoma. There has been very little research into his condition, meaning chemotherapy and radiation therapy are the only two treatment options available.

Collin’s mom, Myra, and Dr. Colleen McDonough, a pediatric hematologist and oncologist at the Georgia Cancer Center, talked with Fox 54’s Kelsey Walker about why there is a lack of money available to study the different types of cancers affecting pediatric patients.
