Augusta University’s annual fundraising campaign begins Aug. 8

Augusta University to launch its annual IGIVE fundraising campaign this month with celebrations for both day- and night- shift employees.

Employees on the Health Sciences campus will be able to give Aug. 8 and Aug. 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. On Aug. 8, donation stations will be located in the Health Sciences Building Lobby, Annex 1 parking lot and the J. Harold Harrison, M.D. Education Commons Lobby. For those wanting to give on Aug. 22, make your donations at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia Fountain and the Terrace Green.

Those on the Summerville campus will be able to give on Aug. 14 from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the Summerville Grove.

Night Shift Employee Campaign Celebrations will be held Aug. 31 and Sept. 7, from 10 p.m. to midnight. On Aug. 31, giving stations will be located on the second floor A Elevators of the Augusta University Medical Center and, on Sept. 7, donations can be made in the CHOG Lobby.

Other IGIVE festivities include the Community Campaign Kickoff Luncheon and the Eat for Augusta U event. The campaign will culminate on Oct. 13 at 5:30 p.m. with the fundraising total being announced during the Augusta U Brew-N-Que in the D. Douglas Barnard, Jr. Amphitheatre.

IGIVE is the annual campaign for giving to Augusta University and AUHealth. Gifts are directed to benefit any of the university’s nine colleges and cyber initiatives, the health system, university athletics, the Children’s Hospital of Georgia or other specific programs.
