Learn to use Box at upcoming training sessions

by Ali Hale

Information Technology will be offering two training sessions next week for faculty and staff that would like to learn how to use Box.

Box is a cloud based file storage, sharing, and collaboration tool that is available to all current university faculty, staff, and students. It can be accessed anywhere you can connect to the internet. Box has replaced the legacy Novell MyFiles storage and is being adopted by many departments as the new departmental file storage location.

All university faculty and staff are welcome to attend in person or via WebEx. Individuals may also attend the Box training session to learn how to access Box, upload, and share files.

Training will be offered on the following dates:

Tuesday, May 23, 2017
Time: Noon-2:00 p.m.
Location: Health Sciences Campus AB 108

Thursday, May 25, 2017
Time: 11 a.m.-Noon
Location: Summerville Campus UH 248

If you would like to attend either of these training sessions through WebEx, please email Janice DeLoach with the date you would like to attend to receive the WebEx login information.

If you would like to learn more about Box on your own, visit the Information Technology Box website. Click the + to expand the Augusta University Box navigation menu on the left for links to the Quick Start, FAQs, Security Information, and Training Videos.
