Video highlights College of Education’s role in creating teachers who matter

Augusta University’s College of Education has a reputation for producing teachers well-prepared to step directly into the classroom and immediately make a difference.

In this video aimed at promoting the College of Education to prospective students, Dean Zach Kelehear clearly states what makes Augusta University College of Education so impressive.

“Think about the teachers who matter most to you,” he says. “That’s what we’re in the business of here – creating teachers who matter.”

Helping Kelehear make the point are Associate Dean Judi Wilson, student Sara Wirth, College of Education alumnus Eriq Hearn, alumna and Grovetown High School Teacher of the Year Laura Reeder and Kirk Wright, principal of Riverside Elementary.
