augusta-brewnqueThe 2016 IGIVE fundraising campaign for Augusta University culminates Friday, Oct. 14, with the Augusta U Brew-N-Que event kicking off at 5:30 p.m. in the D. Douglas Barnard Jr. Amphitheatre on the Summerville Campus.

This annual affair includes a barbeque dinner provided by Fat Man’s Café as well as live entertainment, a kids zone, a fireworks show at dusk, and the announcement of this year’s fundraising total.

Tickets bought online are $15 for adults and $10 for children and students, and tickets purchased at the event gate are $20 a person.

IGIVE is an annual campaign for giving to Augusta University and the AU Health. Gifts can be directed to benefit the health system, any of the university’s nine colleges, university athletics, the Children’s Hospital of Georgia or other specific programs.

This year’s IGIVE campus campaign brought in more than $318,000 and the university is counting on community efforts and university officials to help surpass last year’s fundraising total of more than $1 million.
