‘Chat with the Chief’ debuting on Oct. 5

Augusta University Public Safety and the Office of Critical Events Preparedness and Response (CEPaR) will be hosting a series of open forums designed to provide information and prompt conversation on topics that concern an individual’s safety and well-being while on campus.

Topics may include:

  • Campus & Community Crime Reduction Measures
  • Public Safety Resources
  • Personal Protection Strategies
  • Departmental Continuity of Operation Plans (COOP)
  • Active Shooter Planning and Response
  • Emergency Preparedness

There are two events in this series:

  • Oct. 5 from 1:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., in the JSAC Coffee House, Summerville Campus
  • Oct. 12 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., in the Auditoria Center (BC1400), Health Science Campus

The forums are open to all students, faculty, staff, and volunteers.
