Support breast cancer awareness by wearing pink on Fridays

Starting this Friday and continuing for every Friday in October, Augusta University staff is encouraged to wear pink in honor of breast cancer awareness.

And that’s just one of the ways we’re celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

That same Friday, Sept. 30, a ribbon-hanging will take place at 11 a.m. at the Georgia Cancer Center.

The next day, Saturday, Oct. 1, the Pink Ribbon Party will give anyone supporting breast cancer awareness the opportunity to enjoy a day of music, dancing, face painting and pumpkin decorating at the J. Harold Harrison, M.D. Education Commons.

It all starts – and continues – with wearing pink on Fridays, so don’t miss your chance to support the cause.
