Jagwire Special: Undergraduate Move-In

A lot has been made about the transformative nature of our new residence halls. For the first time, we’ve got undergraduates living on campus, and the implications of that are huge. So are the challenges.

Throughout the year, we’ll be paying special attention to these new students and the ways in which their presence will change the look and feel of our university.

It’s a big story that deserves a big commitment, which is why we’ve devoted today’s front page to it.

The rest of today’s news is still here – just click through to the individual pages to get Jagwire content tailored to your specific interests: University, Health, Research or Employees.

And in case you haven’t heard, we’ve got a special Olympics page where you can follow alumnus and volunteer assistant coach Pardon Ndhlovu’s journey from running barefoot in Zimbabwe to running in this year’s Olympic marathon. You can also check in with our two correspondents who have followed him to Rio while learning more about the world from our in-house experts as they weigh in on a host of topics related to what’s going on in Rio.

It’s an exciting time to be here at Augusta University, and we’re glad to be a part of it.
