A finalist in the ongoing search for the position of campus dean of the Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership will meet with faculty, staff, students and community members in Athens and Augusta later this month.

Dr. Michelle “Shelley” Nuss, campus associate dean for graduate medical education at the Medical Partnership, will give a public presentation on Feb. 15 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in Room 228 of Russell Hall on UGA’s Health Sciences Campus. Her presentation will also be broadcast live from the J. Harold Harrison, MD Education Commons (Room GB 1238) in Augusta.

Nuss is also an associate professor of medicine and psychiatry at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and an adjunct clinical faculty member in the department of psychology in UGA’s Franklin College of Arts and Sciences.

A 15-member committee chaired by Houston Davis, University System of Georgia executive vice chancellor and chief academic officer, conducted a national search to identify finalists for the position.
