Tell, win and run…for free

As we prepare to promote the Augusta University Half Marathon and 10K, we’re looking for great stories from past participants. If you participated in what was formerly known as the GRU Augusta Half Marathon and you have a story of struggle, determination or triumph, let us know, and we’ll make it worth your while.

As you know, on Dec. 1, Georgia Regents University officially became Augusta University – a change that the Board of Regents made in consideration of the long-term success of the university and its relationship with the Augusta Community.

Such widespread change takes time, which is why we’re viewing it as a marathon, not a sprint. So send us your story built around the theme of “it’s a marathon, not a sprint,” and we’ll enter you for a chance to win a free entry to the Augusta University Half Marathon and 10K, which takes place Sunday, February 28.

Consider it an early Christmas present to yourself, but you’ve got to act fast. Email your story to marketing@gru.edu by 11:59 p.m. today for a chance to win.
