Jags Tennis Opens Season Feb. 1 At Johnson C. Smith

2015 GRU Tennis kicks off new slate on the road in non-conference, home opener Feb. 6

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The GRU Augusta men’s and women’s tennis teams open the 2015 spring season this Sunday, Feb. 1 for a 2:00 p.m. dual match at Johnson C. Smith in Charlotte, N.C.

Head Coach Michael McGrath, who enters his 17th season as the head coach of both the men’s and women’s teams, looks to build on the men’s record in the 2013-14 season of 19-7 overall and 6-3 in the Peach Belt Conference and the women’s record of 10-9 and 5-7.
