Wycliffe Gordon Holiday Concert to air across Georgia on Christmas Eve

Whether you missed the annual Wycliffe Gordon and Friends Holiday Concert or are simply looking for a chance to relive the magic, you’ve got an opportunity to hear it on the radio.

The concert, which was recorded at the Maxwell Theatre on Friday, Dec. 9, will be broadcast across Georgia at 11 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, on the GPB Statewide Radio Network.

Featuring Gordon and a band consisting of student and professional musicians from across the CSRA, a piano 6-hands number with department of music professors Dr. Rosalyn Floyd, Dr. Clara Park and Dr. Martin David Jones, solos by students and professors, the Augusta University Gospel Choir and guest vocalist Niki Harris, the broadcast has something for everyone.

So tune in to GPB at 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve and receive the gift of music direct from Augusta University.
