The Department of Physiology continues tradition of bringing gifts to Children’s

Beginning in 1999, Dr. Clinton Webb, former chair of the Department of Physiology, asked faculty and staff to bring a new, unwrapped toy to their annual department holiday party.

These gifts, a brainchild of Dr. Webb’s wife, Dr. Nancy Webb, were to be donations for the Children’s Hospital of Georgia.

For almost 20 years, the department’s holiday party has continued to be a time when faculty and staff can enjoy each other’s company but is also an opportunity to help those in the Augusta community.

Dr. Ruth Harris, interim chair of physiology, remains committed to supporting Children’s and this annual tradition to help give hope and happiness to those spending their holidays in the Children’s Hospital.

If you would like more information about the department or their donations for Children’s, visit the Department of Physiology or email Cathy Davidson.
