Power outage affecting Health Sciences Campus

A power outage is affecting several buildings on the Augusta University Health Sciences Campus.

The Sanders Research and Education Building (CB), Hamilton Wing (CL), Materials Safety and Storage Building (CS) and Cancer Research Center (CN) are currently without power, but each building should be running on generators until approximately noon today.

Computers in these buildings are down and telephones will only last a short time on battery power before they go down, too, according to Information Technology. Please communicate with the building occupants via cell phone, as needed.

The Division of Facilities Services and Georgia Power are currently working to correct the issue.
