Internal Audit intern accepted by John Deere

As of March 7, 2017, Vannecia Glenn, an accounting student from the Hull College of Business, will be leaving the Internal Audit Internship Program to join John Deere as an employee.

Created to introduce audit to students interested in pursuing a career in internal audit, the IA Internship Program is a volunteer internship that gives students an opportunity to acquire some “hands on” knowledge. It also provides project management opportunities for students unfamiliar with applying the principles of internal auditing in a real world setting.

Throughout the first half of the current semester, Glenn completed more than 70 hours of volunteer work. On top of being accepted into an established and renowned company like John Deere, she also joins 18 other former students in the Internal Audit Intern Hall of Fame.
