Forum to provide information for those interested in government internships

Anyone interested in learning more about government internships at the federal, state or local level is encouraged to attend an internship forum at noon on Monday, Oct. 3, in the JSAC Ballroom on the Summerville Campus.

Sponsored by the Political Science Department, the Office of Experiential Learning, Career Services, and Government Relations and Community Affairs, this forum will deliver information about applying for government internships for spring and summer 2017.

Panelists include representatives from the offices of Sen. Johnny Isakson, Sen. David Perdue, Rep. Jody Hice, Rep. Rick Allen and Mayor Hardie Davis. Former interns Amber Greenaway and Kaylee Key will join Jessie Edge, interviewed in the video above, to provide a student perspective on the intern process.

Edge interned with the offices of Isakson and Allen in Washington, D.C.
