Expect traffic delays on 15th Street as road paving begins

The DOT improvements along 15th Street continue as paving begins Monday, Aug. 12.

Asphalt paving on 15th Street between Laney-Walker Boulevard and the John C. Calhoun Expressway is scheduled to begin Monday, Aug. 12, and last through the week.

Please be prepared for intermittent single-lane closures during the day affecting eastbound and westbound traffic. You may want to consider alternate routes in and around the Health Sciences Campus if you have options. Otherwise, please consider adding time to your daily commute to stay on schedule.

Kindly share this information with patients, guests and visitors as appropriate.

This work should be finished on Friday, Aug. 16, weather permitting.
