Dale Peeples talks psychiatry behind viral internet challenges

Dale Peeples, a professor of pediatric psychiatry at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, recently contributed to an article by Univision Noticias detailing the thought process behind viral and dangerous online challenges.

“The guys used to copy things they saw on television, and the internet works in a similar way but with a global reach and much faster, and it is expected that this series of follies will occur more and more in the coming decades,” said Peeples.
