Couples compete, but Relay for Life wins

The Georgia Cancer Center turned a restaurant into a Hollywood studio to raise just over $1,100 for Relay for Life. Six married couples competed on stage at Wild Wing Cafe in an episode of The Newlywed Game.

Doctors with the Georgia Cancer Center and their spouses took turns answering questions about their lives away from the office. At the end of the night, it was Kristina Kotz and her husband Scott who took home victory. The Kotz’s have been married just under a year.

Along with the proceeds from ticket sales, t-shirts and donations made Thursday night, Wild Wing Cafe also donated a portion of sales to Relay for Life.

Relay for Life is scheduled for Friday, May 5, 2017. For more information, visit the Relay for Life Augusta website.
