College of Nursing Family Day brings record number to Simulation Center

On Aug. 25, the College of Nursing celebrated Family Day. Nursing students’ family members toured the Simulation Center at the J. Harold Harrison M.D. Education Commons to get an up-close view of nursing students’ learning environment. At the event, faculty demonstrated how the high-fidelity simulators are used in nursing education to simulate realistic health care scenarios. Over 260 people toured the Simulation Center, a record number for the event.
