Children’s Hospital exterior work gets underway Nov. 19

Beginning Monday, Nov. 19, crews will begin removing old signage and lettering on the front exterior of the Children’s Hospital of Georgia. Work will continue through Dec. 4 as new signage and monikers are added to the building’s exterior to replace what is being removed.

Please note that beginning Nov. 30, the front circular drive and the main front entrance of the Children’s Hospital of Georgia will be closed for about five days. During this time, vehicles who need to drop off or pick up patients or passengers will be directed to utilize the Children’s Hospital Parking Deck and attached covered walkway on the ground floor.  All pedestrian traffic must enter through the side entrance beyond the fountain near McDonald’s through Dec. 4 when the work is completed.

Please be mindful of workers, heavy machinery and safety as you enter and exit the building over the next few weeks. Pardon our progress and thanks for your patience.
