AU Alert Update: Power failure in the Interdisciplinary Research Building

The following message was sent by Augusta University CEPaR:

9:20 a.m. – UPDATE on power situation at the Interdisciplinary Research Building (CA) located at 1462 Laney Walker Blvd. The building is now on emergency power from generators and may be occupied, however be aware that the power may be interrupted at any time. Facilities is currently working to resolve the issue.

Please be aware that there has been a power failure at the Interdisciplinary Research Building (CA) located at 1462 Laney Walker Blvd. The power is out and may be for an extended period of time. Public Safety, Richmond County Fire Department and Facilities are aware of the situation and are currently working on getting it fixed. Until the issue is resolved, the building is to remain unoccupied.
