Parking Lots 10 and 3 at Ed Commons and Student Center will be temporarily unavailable

Augusta University will host the University System of Georgia Board of Regents meeting at the J. Harold Harrison, M.D. Education Commons on Oct. 9 and 10, 2018. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our faculty, staff, students and campuses to those who oversee and create policies for the USG. In addition to Board of Regents members and USG officials, presidents and staff from other USG institutions will be in attendance.

Accommodating all of our guests for this meeting will require the temporary relocation of faculty, staff and students who park in the lot next to the Harrison Commons and the Student Center lot.

From 8 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9 through 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, the gravel lot off Goss Lane behind the Harrison Commons, Lot 10, and the Student Center lot, Lot 3, will be used for those participating in the Board of Regents meeting.

Those currently parking in Lot 10 or Lot 3 must temporarily seek parking in the following lots: Lot 61 (Laney High School), Lot 71 (Antioch Church), Lot 72 (Beulah Grove Vision Village on Wrightsboro Road), or other non-reserved spaces close by. Please see the map for additional information.

We understand that changing your parking location during this two-day period is not ideal, but we appreciate your cooperation and flexibility as we host this important event. We hope that by receiving this information a good deal in advance you will be able to plan ahead to minimize the impact of this temporary relocation.

If you have any additional questions about this advisory, please feel free to email Parking and Transportation or call 706-721-2953.
