Next phase of Comprehensive Administrative Review begins week of Aug. 20

Augusta University is in one of the busiest phases of the University System of Georgia Comprehensive Administrative Review (CAR) initiative. The project is expected to review and refine multiple aspects of our administrative processes across the System to provide greater flexibility in supporting our teaching, research, service and patient care mission. If you haven’t been able to participate in one of the orientations or Town Hall sessions, you can find more information here.

Many of you have already been invited to participate in an Opportunity Identification survey that was emailed on Aug. 7. Thank you if you’ve already responded to that. Please note: the deadline for completing that assessment is Friday, Aug. 17.

Next: Activity Assessments questionnaires will be emailed next week to those employees who are included in this phase. It will come from a non-Augusta University email address (USG-CAR@qualtrics-research.com). This Assessment is mandatory and training on how to best complete the questionnaire will be posted on the website above.

Depending on the number of administrative functions the employee performs, the assessment will take 30-60 minutes to complete. Though it can be saved and completed over multiple sessions, participants are encouraged to complete it in one sitting.

The mandatory assessment will be open until Sept. 5. Supervisors must allow their employees time to complete during working hours and will also receive an assessment. If you supervise others, you are encouraged to participate early to be better prepared to answer questions.
