Are you a teacher or interested in becoming one? Don’t miss the ISL conference on Feb. 24.

Augusta University’s Impacting Student Learning (ISL) Conference will be held from 9 a.m. — 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24, at University Hall on the Summerville Campus.

The College of Education’s conference, which celebrates its 20th anniversary, offers educators of all experience levels — including college students interested in teaching, pre-service teachers, school counselors, media specialists and administrators — the chance to attend a variety of sessions on topics ranging from classroom management and the effective integration of technology to STEM, effective instructional strategies and parental engagement.

The keynote speaker is 2018 Georgia Teacher of the Year John Tibbetts.

Registration is free for all Augusta University faculty and students and for all public and private faculty and homeschool coordinators in the Partner Network School Districts. Registration for non-Augusta University students is $25 and all others are $50.
