New program is another step in Augusta’s stance on cybersecurity

Georgia is making huge strides in the world of cybersecurity. Not only is there an additional building joining the Hull McKnight Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center, but Augusta University has announced a new master’s program to help build the cybersecurity workforce. Pamplin College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences’ newest program, the Master of Arts in Intelligence and Security, is now accepting applications and will kick off next fall.

“Hopefully Augusta University will become the destination of understanding cyber terrorism and policy analysts when it comes to cyber terrorism,” said Dr. Craig Albert, graduate director of the Masters of Arts and Intelligence in Security.
