Blue Lights & Smiles event brings community together

Augusta University Police, in conjunction with area law enforcement agencies and the PBA (Police Benevolence Association) recently came together to serve the community by providing stuffed police dogs to the children in the Children’s Hospital of Georgia.  Officers met in the parking lot of the Augusta University Police Department and traveled to the hospital with their blue lights flashing and delivered toys to the children who find themselves in the hospital during this holiday season.
