Compliance training for health system employees moves to HealthStream platform Dec. 5

Human Resources and Compliance departments will roll out HealthStream Learning Center, the new online learning system for health system employees, beginning Tuesday, Dec. 5. HealthStream will replace Workforce Learn Online (WLO). This change only affects health system employees.

Annual Compliance Training for AU Health employees employees for 2017 is expected to open Wednesday, Dec. 6 with a completion deadline of Friday, Jan. 12. Information on training will be provided once HealthStream is launched.

As a reminder, all health system employees are required to complete annual compliance training and other assigned online training modules in order for the institution to meet accreditation requirements.

There should be noticeable improvements with the new system. Benefits to using HealthStream include the ability to:

  • Find assigned learning and due dates all in one place
  • Receive expiring certification alerts
  • View and print your record of professional training and continuing education credit
  • Complete hours of additional CE and device training
  • Stay connected with your colleagues
  • Access organizational announcements and resources

Team members who need access to complete compliance training may utilize the various computer labs on campus. A representative will be present at the following dates and times in these specific labs to help answer your questions about this new process

  • Tuesday, Dec. 5 in the Health Sciences Building (EC-2204) from 1-3:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Dec. 7 in University Hall (UH-162) from 8-11 a.m.
  • Wednesday, Dec. 13 in Annex 1 (HS-1151) from 1-3:30 p.m.
