Voting underway for student films about tobacco dangers

Their goal is same: to educate people about the dangers of tobacco use. But only one of the 18 public service announcements produced by students in Rick Pukis’ class can be crowned “Audience Favorite.”

The films were produced as part of a partnership between the Department of Communications and the Georgia Cancer Center. Their topic: Tobacco: The Burning Truth.

You are invited to watch the films and vote for your favorite. Go to the website to view them and cast your vote.

Voting ends Friday, Oct. 27. The winner will be announced during the awards ceremony Nov. 6.
