Campus carry forum today at JSAC

People who have questions about the new campus carry law, also known as House Bill 280, will have a chance to get the information they need at a public forum at 10 a.m. today at the Jaguar Student Activities Center on the Summerville Campus.

Organized by the Division of Public Safety, Office of Legal Affairs and Division of Enrollment and Student Affairs, the forum will address topics such as what the law allows, what its limitations are, and what the community should expect.

The forum will also cover site survey information to determine which areas of the university fall under the new law. Attendees will then have an opportunity to ask questions at the end of each session.

Students, faculty, staff, and the community at large are invited to attend. No registration is required.

Visit the University System of Georgia’s guidelines for more information on the new law.
