Healing Arts exhibit inspired by the road

This month’s Healing Arts exhibit takes viewers on the road less traveled.

Award winning photographer Mike Stanley, chief ophthalmic photographer for the Department of Ophthalmology and a 31 year veteran of the medical center, has had is work appear in journals, books and calendars. This exhibit, “Roadside Images,” takes that skill to the backroads, capturing arresting images of the things most people fly by on their way to somewhere else.

The Healing Arts program, an offering of the Office of Volunteer Services and Engagement, brings the work of local artists to the gallery located on the second floor of the medical center on the way to the Children’s Hospital.
