Cyber innovation center payback will be immense

Gov. Nathan Deal at the Augusta University Riverfront Campus

On Monday, June 19, “the most important groundbreaking in Augusta will take place since Bobby Jones, Clifford Roberts and Alister MacKenzie broke ground at Fruitland Nurseries over 80 years ago,” Dr. Richard Franza, dean of Augusta University’s James M. Hull College of Business, wrote in The Augusta Chronicle this weekend.

He goes on to describe the cybersecurity, workforce and economic impact of the new Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center at Augusta University’s Riverfront Campus. Visit The Augusta Chronicle to read more about the facility, scheduled to open July 10, 2018, and what it means for Augusta.
