Researchers at Augusta University image fossilized dinosaur egg

Researchers, radiologists, physicists and technologists at Augusta University recently put a CT scanner through an unusual test.

Searching for evidence of skeleton fragments, the team turned to the award-winning pediatric imaging suite at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia to scan a 75-million-year-old fossilized oviraptor egg. Watch the video to see the team in action.
