Student selected as inaugural scholarship recipient

An Augusta University respiratory therapy student was selected as the inaugural recipient of the Layman Family Allied Health Endowed Scholarship.

The scholarship, established by Debbie Layman (BSN, 1978), was created to recognize the College of Allied Health Sciences and its students for their support of the Costa Layman Health Fair.

Kimberly Savage’s, respiratory therapy student and scholarship recipient,ย commitment to the health fair over the years impressed the scholarship committee.

“She is a student that we will all be proud to say was a graduate of the program,” Layman said.

On behalf of Augusta University, congratulations Kimberly!
