Augusta University wins Telly Awards

Augusta University—often praised as a leading healthcare provider—has something else to be proud of. The university’s Division of Communications and Marketing received three awards during the 38th Annual Telly Awards.

The Pamplin College video entitled “Pamplin College: The Gateway to Everything” and “Augusta is a College Town” each won bronze and the “I’m a Jaguar” video was awarded a silver Telly, the highest offered.

Established in 1979, the Telly Awards are considered the premier accolade for local and regional television commercials and programs, as well as video, film, web productions and commercials. Winners, chosen by a panel of judges, can receive either a bronze or silver statuette.

The awards are widely recognized on both a national and international level; committee members received over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents during last year’s competition.
