Psychology Today: “The End Is Nigh,” Want to Know Why?

Dr. Gregg Murray, chair of the Political Science Department at Augusta University and executive director of the Association for Politics and the Life Sciences, has a message for political doomsayers: We’ve been here before.

“As we’ve seen, the partisan end-is-nigh rhetoric is almost inescapable in the relentless need to feed the 24/7 news media,” Murray said. “But it goes even further, to basic human characteristics.”
