Homecoming week kicks off Feb. 13

Students and alumni of Augusta University will show off their Jaguar spirit during the institution’s annual homecoming week, Feb. 13-18.

The week-long celebration includes several on-and off-campus activities such as dining out in Downtown Augusta, tailgating and a step and dance show.

Festivities will culminate Saturday, Feb.18, with a tailgating party and the homecoming king and queen being crowned during Augusta University’s basketball game against Lander University. Tailgating will kick off at 11:30 a.m. at the Christenberry Fieldhouse, and the game will begin at 3:30 p.m. Augusta University departments are encouraged to join the pre-game fun by showing their Jaguar pride with a tailgating space.

General admission into the game is $10; $7 for active military, seniors and students; and free with a valid JagCard.

Alumni are also invited to the Office of Alumni Affairs’ Homecoming Alumni Tailgate from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fieldhouse and the J. Fleming Norvell Golf House. Admission is $15 before Feb.12 and $20 after that date.
