Leadership Program Pipeline II Graduation at Augusta University by David Russell Photography

How do you build better leaders? Carefully

Leadership is a catch-all term for thousand different ideas.

Some lead by example. Others lead from within. But regardless of what type of leader you are, one thing holds true of all leaders: They can always be improved. That’s the aim of the Augusta University Office of Leadership Development – to provide a suite of comprehensive, experiential, enterprise-wide, leadership and management development opportunities within the context of its mission and vision.

Classes are free and offered throughout the year. The best part is, you’ll be learning and growing alongside colleagues with help from colleagues.

“We didn’t take something externally or from a vendor and plug it in,” said Dr. Caryl Hess, director of the Office of Leadership Development. “We actually looked at our own people and the needs of our industries and the industries around us and created both programs and courses to meet the need.”
