Open Enrollment for employee benefits starts on Monday, October 3, 2016, and ends at midnight on Sunday, October 16.
The Medical Center’s Benefits Open Enrollment is an Active Enrollment
If you are a benefits-eligible employees at AU Medical Center you must go online in Employee Self-Service to enroll, or you may be defaulted into a plan you do not wish to be enrolled in, or, you may not be enrolled or contributing towards a flexible spending and/or savings accounts.
Everyone on the medical center’s group health plan who is tobacco-free (as well as dependents on the plan) can reduce their premiums by attesting they are tobacco-free. The active enrollment also requires re-attesting for spousal surcharges tied to the health plan. If your spouse is on your plan and they are eligible for health insurance through their own employer, you can continue them on your plan, but will be required to pay a spousal surcharge.
