Artist Ralph Gilbert brings Minnesota history to life one image at a time

Ralph Gilbert, professor of Art at Georgia State University and creator of the St. Paul Union Depot Murals, sat down with the Jagwire team to discuss art, feeling and the process of building a legacy. Gilbert’s work, 6 16-foot murals representing the role of railroads in the settlement, expansion and history of Minnesota, was commissioned by the Ramsey County Railroad Authority. The murals originally debuted in 2014.
