New scheduling tool to allow nurses greater scheduling access, flexibility

Clairvia graphic2On August 21, Augusta University Health nurses will be able to access Cerner Clairvia, a new web-based scheduling tool.

Clairvia allows nurses to view schedules and to request work schedules and time off from the convenience of their own homes.

It also allows nurses to synchronize their work schedules to their mobile devices, computers or other calendar applications. The work schedule is also shareable, making it easy to coordinate busy lives.

In addition, the Shift Alert feature allows notifications of available shifts.

When fully implemented, the automated functionality of Clairvia will allow staffing fluctuations to be more adequately addressed, which will help the medical center better meet its patient care requirements.
