Maura Flaschner has been named Augusta University’s Director of Academic Admissions.

Flaschner, who comes to Augusta with 22 years of admissions experience at Iowa State University and the University of South Florida, will start her new role July 5. Her cross campus collaborations include serving as an adviser to both the Hillel and the Puerto Rican Student Association student groups and serving on the Iowa State Conference on Race and Ethnicity Planning Committee.

“Ms. Flaschner is truly excited about the opportunity to work with you all, and I know that you will enjoy getting to know her as well,” said David Barron, associate vice president for enrollment services. “Please give Ms. Flaschner a warm Jaguar Nation welcome upon her arrival.”
