Thinking about a career in Social Work?

The Department of Sociology, Criminal Justice, and Social Work will host a Bachelor of Social Work Information Session on Thursday, Feb. 11, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in Allgood Hall, Room N240.

Interested students will have a chance to learn about the BSW program and about future career opportunities from dedicated faculty and staff.

Augusta University’s Bachelor of Social Work degree is designed to prepare students to support and advocate for social and economic justice and the personal well-being of all people. In addition to preparing students for a career in the field of social work, the BSW program also requires participants to consider the diverse populations and needs for social services that exist throughout the Southeast and beyond.

For more information about the Bachelor of Social Work Information Session, contact the Department of Sociology, Criminal Justice, and Social Work at 706-737-1735 or phender2@augusta.edu.
