Last payroll of 2015 announcement for medical center bi-weekly paid employees

2015 introduced a new dynamic in the GRMC payroll calendar for non-exempt staff (those who are paid every two weeks). Instead of the normal 26 pay periods over the course of the year, bi-weekly employees will have a total of 27 pay periods in 2015. The great news for many of our biweekly staff, there may be certain benefits that will not require a benefits contribution on the very last payroll of 2015. This will occur for anyone who has been in a benefit plan (excluding retirement, health savings or spending accounts) for the entire year! However, if you were in a benefit plan for only part of 2015, or, changed plans mid-year, the last pay period of the year will deduct premium contributions from your plan(s).
