The benefits of sleep will be highlighted and reviewed along with the secret to capturing the elusive ‘good night’s sleep’. Bring your lunch and come share in an interactive discussion facilitated by Dawn Jett, LCSW, student counselor, specializing in the needs of health science student.

February 20: CURS Brown Bag Seminar

The Brown Bag Series was begun as a way for students to present original research or scholarship to the campus community. The talks are given by either individual or teams of students who have conducted an original study or produced original work using the methods of their discipline. The series is a way to showcase the quality and breadth of research at GRU.

February 25: Brown vs. Board of Education: A Panel on School Segregation and Integration

JSAC Coffeehouse, Summerville Campus
A little over 60 years ago, the Supreme Court ruled that school segregation was illegal in the landmark case of Brown vs. Board of Education. Join us as we listen to the stories of African-Americans who experienced school segregation and those whose lives were transformed by school integration. A reception will follow the panel.
